8. Sam Alvey & McKey Sullivan

A native of Waterford, Wisconsin —'Smile'n' Sam Alvey is always sporting a massive grin — hence the nickname.

Despite his happy-go-lucky demeanor, the UFC light heavyweight is a fierce competitor when the cage door shuts. Alvey has defeated MMA stars like Nate Marquardt, Dan Kelly, and former champ Rashad Evans.

Besides his impressive résumé, one of the reasons Alvey may be smiling is that he's married to a supermodel. His wife is the winner of the 11th season of America's Next Top Model, McKey Sullivan. She has since appeared in several world-renowned publications and made People magazine's list of Most Beautiful People in 2009.

Back in 2005, Sullivan and Alvey met at The Bristol Renaissance Fair. Perhaps due in part to their shared love of music from the 16th century —the two hit it off — and eventually decided to tie the knot in 2015.

The couple is still married, and have three children together.
