At April 24's Lucha Underground TV tapings, former LU Trios Champion Angélico suffered an elbow injury when landing badly on a springboard move.

Now, The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the high flyer's injuries have been diagnosed as a dislocated elbow and a fractured radius cup. He is expected to miss two months, which will likely keep him out of action for the rest of LU's season three tapings.

The 28-year-old Angélico is a veteran of the lucha libre scene, having wrestled in Mexico since 2008. He originally competed for Ultimo Dragon's Toryumon promotion, winning the company's Young Dragons' Cup in 2010. He also gained experience in popular Mexican independent promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group.

In 2011, Angélico debuted for Asistencia Asesoría y Administración, Mexico's largest promotion. Teaming with Jack Evans, Angélico became a two-time AAA World Tag Team Champion, and his relationship with the company has allowed him to work for Lucha Underground.

On February 8, 2015, Angélico, Ivelisse, and Son of Havoc (Matt Cross) became the promotion's inaugural Trios Champions. The group lost the titles to The Disciples of Death, but reclaimed them on an episode that aired in March.
