Update On Becky Lynch's Injury From WWE SummerSlam
How serious is the injury, and will The Man miss much in-ring time as a result?
Becky Lynch will wind up on the shelf for a bit after her SummerSlam match Saturday.
During Raw Monday night, Lynch appeared with her arm in a sling and immobilized, with The Man confirming her rumoured shoulder separation. She called Belair out, congratulated and hugged her, and then told her to "hold it down" until she returned.
Afterward, WWE aired a backstage attack by Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, with the trio targeting Lynch's arm with a steel chair, seemingly writing her off TV for a while. WWE then confirmed that Becky is expected to miss "several months" due to the injury.

Fightful Select reports that they were told that Lynch separated her shoulder early in her Raw Women's Championship match against Bianca Belair, but she managed to continue through the pain to finish the bout, including the post-match angle with a returning/debuting Bayley, Kai and Sky.
Fightful indicated earlier on Monday that it was "50/50" on whether she would need surgery to address the shoulder injury. WWE did not mention surgery in their update.
