Becky Lynch anticipates being back in a WWE ring within the next few months despite suffering a separated shoulder in her last outing for the promotion.

The former Raw Women's Champion has been on the shelf since mounting a failed challenge at current champ Bianca Belair on the 30 July premium live event. Injured during the match, Lynch was nonetheless able to finish as planned, then take part in a post-match showdown with returnees Bayley, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai, during which Becky turned babyface to join forces with Belair.

Now, Becky has claimed that she is healing quickly. Speaking on an Instagram stream, Lynch stated that she hopes to return within a couple of months, having already recovered some mobility (h/t SEScoops):-

“Hopefully, in the next couple of months. Now that I got bad wing, I have a little bit more time to dedicate to it (writing her book). Yeah, I feel like I got a little bit more mobility in it (shoulder) because when it happened, it was so painful that I was like, ‘oh no, I’m going to be out for a long, long time.’ But now, it’s healing up really quick. I’m feeling strong. I’m feeling good. I’m hoping it won’t be much time at all.”

WWE had previously noted that Lynch would be out for several months following the 1 August Raw, on which a backstage beatdown from Bayley, SKY, and Kai served as her televised write-off.
