Update On Karrion Kross & Scarlett Returning To WWE NXT
Karrion Kross & Scarlett could be back in WWE NXT sooner than you think.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett look set to return to WWE NXT imminently.
This is according to Dave Meltzer, who stated on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Kross was "on his way back" to television.
NXT's resident monster suffered a shoulder injury while wrestling Keith Lee for the NXT Championship at TakeOver XXX in August. Though he successfully took the title, Kross immediately commented that he knew he'd suffered a separated shoulder, with an MRI revealing he'd need to take time off. Such injuries typically come with a recovery time of up to 12 weeks, so 'Doomsday' is well on schedule for a comeback.
Last week saw Karrion claim that he would be returning to television "any second."
Kross experienced one of the quickest ascents in NXT history after debuting in May, embarking on a series of impressive squash matches including the shellacking of former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa at TakeOver: In Your House. A push towards the main event scene followed, with Kross defeating Lee less than for months after arriving, though he was made to relinquish the belt just four days later.
It's probably safe to assume that Kross will pick up where he left off.
