Update On Lance Archer Following Ugly Landing On AEW Dynamite
The Murderhawk Monster has provided an update after THAT scary landing.
During his World Title Eliminator match against Eddie Kingston on last night's AEW Dynamite, Lance Archer had an extremely ugly landing when a moonsault went wrong.
For those who missed it, the Murderhawk Monster landed on his head when looking to attempt to hit said moonsault on Kingston. Following a brief pause in the match as officials checked on Archer, the Mad King immediately got the impromptu three-count and victory with a rollup.
PWInsider reported that Archer was said to be doing okay backstage and should make a full recovery, with many viewers obviously fearing the worst after seeing how the former IWGP United States Champion landed.
After that PWInsider story, Archer himself has since taken to Twitter to reassure fans that he'll be back and how this situation could have been massively worse. As Lance himself put it, the rough landing was due to not getting enough rotation on his moonsault.
I’ll live! Thank ya Lord!
