Mance Warner debuted for All Elite Wrestling this week, officially coming through the company's doors during Wednesday's episode of Dynamite.

That show brought the announcement that Warner would face Interim World Champion Jon Moxley in an eliminator bout on this Friday's Rampage. At the same time, AEW booked Mance in a squash victory over Serpentico that aired on last night's special episode of Dark: Elevation.

Fightful Select has now come through with an update on Warner, whose AEW appearances came just a few weeks after his return to Major League Wrestling. This was made possible by the 33-year-old not being under contract with Court Bauer's promotion. While around 90% of MLW's roster is contracted, Warner is amongst the small group of wrestlers the company uses without binding them to a deal.

Warner was linked with AEW in October 2020, when Bodyslam.net's Cassidy Haynes reported that Mance had asked to be released from a previous MLW contract, with AEW "100% interested" in him. Almost two years later, Tony Khan has finally booked his man.

Warner has primarily worked for leading indie group Game Changer Wrestling in 2022, with his latest match there taking place on 29 July.
