Update On Ric Flair's Health
Nature Boy's surgery was a success.
Ric Flair was rushed to hospital this past Thursday after experiencing a medical emergency, with scheduled surgery for Friday delayed due to undisclosed complications.
The Nature Boy instead went under the knife yesterday, and we're glad to report that the operation has passed off smoothly.
Flair's wife Wendy Barlow told TMZ Sports that "the procedure was a success," whilst thanking fans for their enduring support during Ric's latest health scare.
It's unknown what Flair's surgery involved, though it's understood he had been suffering from heart issues over the past few months.
The legendary champ is said to be in good spirits following his procedure, though has understandably cancelled an upcoming date participating in a Las Vegas celebrity roast this Friday.
In August 2017, Flair was whisked to the operating theatre in Georgia to remove an obstructive piece of his bowel. Complications from surgery resulted in serious kidney failure, with doctors only giving him a 20% chance of pulling through.
After been placed in a medically-induced coma and put on life support for 10 days, Flair eventually, miraculously, managed to recover.
