Update On Sasha Banks' WWE Status
Has The Boss reached a resolution?
Like a mortarboard at a graduation ceremony, Sasha Banks' status within WWE remains somewhat up in the air, though a small piece of news coming out of New York suggests she is back on board with the company - for now, at least.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, a source told the website that 'The Boss' had been spotted in the Big Apple last Wednesday on official WWE business. Apparently, Banks was in town to film material for the next in WWE's series of long-running 2K video games.
Midway through this month, it was reported that Sasha had rejected several offers within wrestling, but was no closer to a resolution with her current employers.
Banks allegedly tried to walk out on WWE over WrestleMania weekend due to the manner in which her and Bayley dropped the Women's Tag Team Titles to The IIconics. One insider suggested Sasha had caused a bit of a ruckus at the hotel following the show - though this story was not substantiated.
Since then, both parties have been at an impasse. If Banks has resumed duties - even in an out-of-the-ring capacity - then it's a positive sign for WWE, who will be eager to retain one of their most popular female talents. Of course, it's eminently possible Sasha was in New York - if at all - on entirely unrelated business.
