Update On Skye Blue's AEW Roster Status
Latest contract update one one of AEW's brightest young prospects.
All Elite Wrestling prospect Skye Blue is currently working under an agreement company.
Blue has never received the X Is #AllElite treatment, which the promotion typically uses to signify a wrestler being signed to a full-time contract. She has been making regular appearances since April 2021, however, when she debuted opposite Dr. Britt Baker DMD in a Dark: Elevation squash match.
Fightful Select broke the news of Skye's AEW agreement. There is currently no word on whether or not this is a full-time contract or a tiered deal similar to other semi-regular roster members.
Blue, 22, has wrestled 48 AEW matches in her 18 months with the promotion. Her most recent was tag team victory pitting her and freelancer Queen Aminata against Diamante and Emi Sakura taped for Dark on 2 September. AEW's YouTube series host most of her matches, though she does cross over onto Rampage and Dynamite from time to time.
As well as keeping a busy AEW schedule, Skye Blue continues to make semi-regular independent appearances. She has worked for such groups as BLP, CCW, and Warrior Wrestling in 2022 alone, having broken out on the circuit two years ago.
