Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson recently confirmed that he'll be at WWE WrestleMania 32, but Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has stated "the impression we have right now is Rock is not cleared to wrestle on the show for the same insurance reason we reported on months ago." That's bad new for WWE fans. Sure, a returning Rock is always entertaining, he certainly lit up the last two Mania shows with sensational mic segments. But for WrestleMania 32, there had been a long held expectation that he'd be wrestling. Any other role he takes at the show is going to disappoint. It could also be considered misleading that both Rock and WWE have been hyping his appearance as if he could be wrestling. The problem for WWE is, Dwayne Johnson is always going to be able to make more money in Hollywood. His insurance people and agents are acting on his best interests, they need him to be fit, they can't have him putting his film schedules in jeopardy by suffering an injury. And that's exactly what happened last time Rock did compete, when he suffered an injury at WrestleMania 29 against John Cena. If Rock is available, it is possible that he'd be facing Triple H at Mania. There's a chance he would stop Hunter from costing Roman Reigns the Royal Rumble match, thus setting the angle up.
