Like the rest of the world, WWE has been thrown into a tailspin for so much of 2020, with the 2020 Hall of Fame ceremony just one of many events hit hard by very real-world problems. But now, there is at least an update on the current plan for the 2020 Hall of Fame class.

As is the norm, the 2020 class was due to be inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the weekend of celebrations for WrestleMania 36. Those plans were clearly shelved, with the intention to have the Hall of Fame ceremony then take place over SummerSlam Weekend should fans by then be allowed to attend shows once more.

Again, those plans were put on hold, with this year’s SummerSlam taking place in the unique confines of the ThunderDome. Now though, it looks as if the 2020 Hall of Fame class will finally get their moment in the spotlight… in 2021.

The 2020 Hall of Fame class consists of Batista, Davey Boy Smith, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, Nikki and Brie Bella, JBL, and the nWo under the guise of Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman.

Right now, it’s not known whether more talents of yesteryear would be inducted at WrestleMania 37 to go along with these names, but that would definitely seem like a very real possibility.

Emanating from Inglewood, Hollywood’s SoFi Stadium, the main WrestleMania 37 PPV itself is set for March 28, 2021.
