Update On WWE's SummerSlam 2020 Changes After Raw
WWE tweaked some things before Sunday...
WWE made several small adjustments to this Sunday's SummerSlam 2020 card on Monday's episode of Raw.
The biggest announcement was that Rey Mysterio will be in his son Dominik's corner against Seth Rollins. Rey returned on Raw and sported a new mask that sold the idea that he'd lost an eye during 'The Horror Show At Extreme Rules'.
It's hard to imagine the match will happen without some sort of 'Daddy Mysterio' interference now.
Another tweak was made to the United States Title bout between Apollo Crews and MVP. After Crews beat 'Hurt Business' member Shelton Benjamin on Monday, it was revealed that both Benjamin and fellow MVP acolyte Bobby Lashley will be banned from ringside this weekend.
Finally, WWE sorted out the order of Asuka's duel title shots at SummerSlam. She'll challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Title first, then get her crack at Sasha Banks' Raw belt a little later on in the pay-per-view.
It's Mysterio who steals the headlines, but some fans on social media believe he should've been kept on the shelf until after SummerSlam. WWE clearly wanted to add some more star power though.
