As expected, 2017 Royal Rumble winner Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles to become the number one contender to Bray Wyatt's WWE Championship on last night's SmackDown. Having burned the Wyatt Family Compound to the ground last week, Orton will now face his former ally for the title at WrestleMania 33 on April 2nd.

It was also revealed that Alexa Bliss will defend her SmackDown Women's Championship against every available woman on the roster. As it stands, this appears to be Mickie James, Natalya, Carmella, and Becky Lynch. There's no word on the stipulation yet, though it will likely be revealed over the coming weeks.

In addition, WWE finally started adding names to this year's Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last night. Mojo Rawley was the first to throw his name into the hat on SmackDown, with Apollo Crews announcing his entrance on Talking Smack later in the evening.
