WWE added a new match to the Clash of Champions 2020 line up on last night's episode of SmackDown.

After Bayley had cut a vicious in-ring promo on former pal Sasha Banks, the company ran a Fatal-4-Way to establish her new challenger. Nikki Cross beat Alexa Bliss, Tamina and Lacey Evans to bag another opportunity for the belt on 27 September.

Anyone watching could see that Nikki was going to win; Bayley cracked her with a steel chair shot right before the bout, which kinda' gave the game away there.

Cross last challenged Bayley back at 'The Horror Show At Extreme Rules' in July. WWE are claiming she has a better chance than ever of winning now Sasha is no longer in the champ's corner.

Other matches currently scheduled for Clash Of Champions (which appears to have lost its 'Gold Rush' subtitle) are Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title and a family vs. family affair pitting Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso for the Universal Title.

WWE has two episodes each of Raw and SmackDown left to help build more matches before the pay-per-view.
