Broadcasting from Las Vegas, Nevada on February 25th, Elimination Chamber 2018 is WWE's next pay-per-view, and the Raw-branded event started taking shape on last night's post-Royal Rumble show.

The biggest news is that WWE will present a women's Chamber match for the first time ever. As announced by Stephanie McMahon, Alexa Bliss will defend her Raw Women's Championship against five other wrestlers, with the winner presumably facing Asuka at WrestleMania 34. This drew a strong reaction from the crowd, though WWE haven't named any the other participants yet.

A men's Chamber bout will also take place, but not for Brock Lesnar's Universal Title: instead, six Raw Superstars will compete for the right to become 'The Beast Incarnate's' number one contender. Elias, John Cena, and Braun Strowman all qualified last night, having defeated Matt Hardy, Finn Balor, and Kane in respective singles matches. Three more will be added through further qualifying matches over the coming weeks.
