Updated WWE NXT TakeOver XXX Card: Lee Vs. Kross Official
NXT gears up for 22 August in fiery fashion.
WWE's next big NXT TakeOver event, XXX, goes down on Saturday 22 August, and last night's show brought the addition of the supercard's likely main event.
As expected, Keith Lee will defend his NXT Championship against Karrion Kross. This came following a wild angle that saw a fireball explode in Lee's face when he attempted to sign the match contract. Kross had already inked the papers after much deliberating with William Regal, then handed them to Scarlett to pass to Lee, who paid the price.
Lee was taken to a Local Medical Facility™ as part of the angle, though he later promised that Kross would be a dead man by the time he was finished with him at TakeOver. The match is now official.
Keith has one successful NXT Title defence to his name thus far, defeating Dominik Dijakovic on 15 July.
