The viral sensation debuted on last night's special Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite, appearing during Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy's Lights Out main event, drawing a big pop from the Cleveland, Ohio crowd.

Having attached himself to a steel chair that Cole pulled out from under the ring, Danhausen's appearance distracted Cole long enough for Cassidy to work his way back into the match. Danhausen then made his exit as the fans chanted his name, leaving Cassidy visibly bewildered, with the bout continuing on.

AEW President Tony Khan hit Twitter to confirm Danhausen's signing after the show:-

A breakout star on the independent scene over the past couple of years (thanks, in part, to his unique gimmick and smart use of social media platforms), Danhausen has risen in prominence through his Ring of Honor role since late 2019. He became a free agent after the Sinclair-helmed group began the process of releasing all contracted talent on 31 December, thus freeing him to sign wherever he pleased.

Danhausen hasn't wrestled since October 2021, having had his year prematurely ended by a broken leg. There is currently no word on when he'll be back in the ring.
