Vince McMahon "Spent 10 Minutes" Praising This WWE Female Star's Work
WWE chief McMahon told this women's worker how important she was to wrestling.
Molly Holly will never forget how complimentary Vince McMahon was when she informed the WWE boss of her plans to retire back in 2005.
The former two-time Women's Champion told Sean Waltman's 'Pro Wrestling 4 Life' show that she didn't expect Vince to take 10 minutes out of his day to lavish praise on her. She told him she wanted to call time on her career, and McMahon said the "door would always be open".
That meant the world to Molly, and so did his follow-up recognition of her hard work; Vince told the departing star "how important [she] was to the business, how he appreciated [her] work ethic, and how great of a champion [she] was".
Molly was even more stunned because she'd barely spoken to Vince at all since joining the company in 2000. Her only interactions with the chief had been a quick hello here and there, so this was the first time they'd properly sat down for a chat.
She wasn't aware that McMahon was so high on her work, but she thought it was important to thank him for all the opportunities and experiences his platform had provided.
