Hit recording artist and renowned wrestling fan Wale has released his latest track, and it's absolutely chock-a-block with WWE references - not least its name.

The song, a collaboration with fellow rappers Westside Gunn and Smoke DZA, is titled 'The Hurt Business', in an obvious nod to Raw's dominant quartet of Bobby Lashley, MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. Throughout the beat, the trio can be heard namedropping numerous stars of the business past and present, including Ric Flair, Greg Valentine, Vince McMahon and Jake Roberts. Naturally, one of the actual Hurt Business' MVPs - MVP, to be precise - gets a lyric, with reference to his real name Hassan Assad.

Wale's love for the business is no secret. Global pandemic notwithstanding, he annually hosts WaleMania over WrestleMania weekend, and has made numerous guest appearances for WWE over the years, most notably conducting the rap battle between The Usos and The New Day back in 2017. His most recent outing for the company was in October 2019, when he chaperoned then-NXT tag champs The Street Profits to the ring for a match against Undisputed Era's Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly.
