WCPW Stacked: 10 Awesome Moments
What do title wins, a flying Moose and Eric Bischoff have in common?
WCPW management weren't messing around when they named the latest supercard Stacked. Full to the brim with matches fans couldn't wait to see, the show featured classics like Will Ospreay vs. Marty Scurll, The Primate vs. Grado and even a Last Woman Standing Match between Bea Priestley and Nixon Newell to crown the first ever WCPW Women's Champion.
In the main event, Big Damo would have to fly solo against the likes of Rampage, Joe Hendry and Joseph Conners. Defending his WCPW Title, the Irishman would have to do so without the help of manager Adam Blampied. Along with his cohorts in Prospect, Blampied was having trouble staying in the building.
All eyes now turn to names such as Cody Rhodes and Kurt Angle making their first appearances in the promotion, but they will be joined by another pro wrestling legend. Special Guest General Manager for Stacked, Eric Bischoff announced that he had taken out a hit (pun intended) on WCPW in October.
Stacked lived up to the name, but let's look at the most awesome moments from the latest slice of WCPW action...
10. Sheer Athleticism Of Moose
At around 6ft 8 inches tall, Moose could be forgiven for relying on his intimidating power to get through matches. Not content to simply use his impressive size, the big man had a few tricks up his sleeve for Joe Coffey at Stacked. Those little touches of incredible athleticism made all the difference.
Opening up the show, Moose surprised WCPW's resident 'Iron Man' with his quickness. There were several periods of the match that Coffey dominated, he even managed to go strike-for-strike with his American counterpart. This forced Moose to adapt his arsenal, and such adaptability enabled him to emerge victorious.
As Joe Coffey sat perched on the top turnbuckle, Moose unbelievably hurled his massive frame into the air. Fans couldn't believe it when they watched him perform a picture-perfect dropkick, and jaws were similarly agape moments later when Moose landed a flying cross body block on his foe.
Perhaps the most surprising element of the entire night, Moose showed he's capable of doing more than just clubbing his rivals to the mat. No wonder WCPW fans were so enthused.
