AEW personnel are enjoying working on Collision so far, says veteran announcer and producer Tony Schiavone.

Schiavone stated as much on a recent episode of his podcast, What Happened When, with Conrad Thompson. The former WCW man put AEW's new Saturday night brand over, mentioning the Kevin Kelly/Nigel McGuinness announce team specifically - and speaking on his own on-air role.

Said Schiavone (h/t WrestlingNews.co):-

"I'm telling you, Collision is a good show. It is a great show. We got a great announce team of Kevin Kelly and Nigel. I thoroughly enjoy it from top to bottom and I'm glad I'm around for it. I'm doing both shows and I originally was going to just produce backstage, but there are some live interviews they want me to do, so I do them, but basically I'm just backstage producing."

Continuing, Tony said that a recent conference call saw the Collision team agree that they are enjoying the show so far:-

"We talked about it in a conference call this week that we had about how much we all are enjoying Collision, doing it."

Collision's fifth episode airs this Saturday, and will be headlined by CM Punk vs. Ricky Starks in the men's Owen Hart Tournament finals. The show debuted in Chicago, IL on 17 June.
