What CM Punk Said To Juice Robinson After AEW Collision Main Event
CM Punk knelt down and said SOMETHING to Juice Robinson at AEW Collision... but what?
CM Punk's expression may have said otherwise (understandable, given he'd just fought the man in a worked environment live on television), but the 44-year-old's post-match words for Juice Robinson on Saturday's AEW Collision show were positive.
Sports Illustrated's Justin Barrasso reports that Punk shared "sincere words of gratitude" with Robinson following their trios match.
Punk and FTR defeated Juice, Jay White, and Samoa Joe in Collision's first main event, with the returning Chicagoan pinning Robinson. Although the words weren't caught on the broadcast, Punk pointed a finger in his opponent's face after the bout, sharing his thoughts before getting up to celebrate.
One AEW talent has told SI that Punk is "looking to spotlight different talent in his matches" following his comeback. Elevating Robinson was an apparent priority in the Collision main event, with the former NJPW star spending a lot of time in the ring on Saturday, putting in significant defensive work opposite Punk.
Punk's Collision return was his first AEW appearance since brawling with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks after All Out 2022 last September, leading to his indefinite suspension. AEW is yet to announce anything, though it is understood Punk will be on tonight's Dynamite as well.
