WWE have delayed the release of their "WrestleMania XL Behind the Curtain" documentary because they want to add more footage from WrestleMania weekend itself to the final production.

This is according to Fightful Select, who reached out to the company after questions were asked about the apparent abandonment of the original airing. WWE had promoted the YouTube special during WrestleMania with Wednesday 10th April as the intended date, though no time was included. A specific time was never provided and the day eventually passed without it appearing on any of the company's official channels. Per the outlet;

"WWE sources...said that the move has been made to add footage from this past weekend to the show. We were not given an update on the new release time or date."

The documentary will candidly track the Road To WrestleMania for its top stars, seemingly focusing mostly on the original intentions for how The Rock would be used, the infamous edition of SmackDown where Cody Rhodes appeared to surrender his WWE Championship match and the subsequent pivot made during the Las Vegas "Kickoff" special that moved the pieces into place for how Night One and Night Two eventually played out.
