What John Cena REALLY Thinks Of Negative WWE Fans
"It's all so f*cking wonderful."
John Cena has embraced the hate he has often received from WWE fans throughout his lengthy career.
Speaking on the latest episode of the WWE Network's Untold series, the 16-time World Champion said that regardless of whether or not wrestling fans are cheering or jeering him, he is pleased to have always drawn engaged reactions.
"Every time you see me come out, it’s like I’m shot out of a cannon. It’s because I’m ready, I’m ready to go, and that’s whether you’re telling me I suck or whether you’re telling me that I’m great," Cena said (h/t Fightful). "It’s why I orchestrate you to continue to make noise because as a performer, this makes me feel 10-feet tall. Just audible reaction. I love it when a group of people has so much energy that it’s viscerally negative towards me. I also love it when the energy is so overwhelmingly positive, it does lift you up. It’s like it’s all so f*cking wonderful."
Cena's last WWE bout went down at WrestleMania 36, where he lost a wild Firefly Fun House match with Bray Wyatt. Built primarily around John's perceived failings as a WWE headliner, it was sharp, self-aware, and well-received by the fanbase.
