Alexa Bliss has taken a gentle swipe at AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill as part of an ongoing Twitter war between the titleholder and All Elite Wrestling newcomer - and former WWE wrestler - Athena.
Cargill and the former Ember Moon were beefing back and forth with tweets presumably designed to sell this Friday's Rampage battle between respective on-screen allies Red Velvet and Kris Statlander (itself there to build the eventual singles match between the two) when Bliss jumped to the former NXT Champion's defence.

All likely good natured, though it always generates some fun discourse when interactions like this occur across the divide. It's also not the first time Bliss has peppered her tweets with snark - some recent spicy exchanges have seen her taking aim at WWE creative due to the various trials and tribulations her character has experienced.
In real life, Athena (Adrienne Reese) was one of Bliss' bridesmaids at her wedding earlier this year. Having gone back and forth with her AEW colleague, Cargill is yet to respond to the WWE star.
