It might be a while before you see Jeff Hardy on AEW television again.

Jeff Hardy is set to take time away from the AEW ring as the promotion prepares to embark on a tour of Canada.

Fightful Select notes that this is down to Hardy being unable to enter Canada due to his arrest history. This would be why AEW effectively wrote Jeff off of television on last night's Dynamite, as the Hardys dropped a tag team match to Austin and Colten Gunn, taking a beatdown from Bullet Club Gold in the aftermath.

Starting with Saturday's Collision in Toronto, then Sunday's Forbidden Door pay-per-view in the same city, AEW's next eight shows are all set to take place in Canada. The promotion returns to the United States for a Dynamite and Rampage taping in Boston, MA on 19 July.

Fightful notes that AEW may opt to shoot pretaped segments for Jeff, which would keep his onscreen presence going during the absence.

Jeff has worked five matches for AEW since returning to the promotion earlier this year, three of which have taken place on televised events. Arrested on multiple charges in June 2022, including felony DUI, Hardy was served a 38-day jail sentence, two years of probation, $4,500 in court fees, a 10-year suspension on his driver's license, two years with an interlock device, a 90-day vehicle impoundment, a court-mandated school or DUI program, and community service in February.
