Why These 3 Wrestlers Missed WWE Raw
Liv Morgan, Rey Mysterio, and Natalya were NOT in the building this week.
The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has come through with a new report on why certain wrestlers were missing from this week's episode of WWE Raw, despite their involvement in ongoing storylines.
Liv Morgan, who is engaged in a programme with former Riott Squad partner Ruby Riott, was absent because she was on a boat trip with Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose (take that, kayfabe), and Rose's mother, hence why she only appeared in clip form.
Natalya, who has forged a new alliance with manager Lana, was kept away from the tapings as her husband, Tyson Kidd, was suffering from a fever. This was a precautionary measure and both have tested negative for the illness currently sweeping the globe.
Rey Mysterio was also supposed to be in the building but opted to stay at home with son Dominick instead, filming his promo in his house and submitting it for the episode. The duo are currently feuding with Seth Rollins and his gang.
Austin Theory and Randy Orton were also missing from Raw, though there's no word on why they weren't there.
Meltzer has stated that some of Raw's absences were down to the ongoing global health crisis but was unable to specify who, exactly.
