Fightful Select has noted that Naomi vacating the Women's World Championship on Monday's episode of Raw has caused "some huge creative shifts" for WWE.

On TV, the reigning champ announced that she was pregnant and pretty much handed the title over to WWE. She did also, however, put the entire women's division on notice by saying she'd be back in around 9 months to reclaim her prize. It was an emotional segment, one that played before loud chants of: "YOU DESERVE IT!".

Naomi went on to note that, "The Bloodline continues, baby".

WWE shot footage of Jimmy Uso watching backstage, and they reportedly rushed out an episode of Stephanie McMahon's podcast chat with the happy couple so it'd tie in with Naomi's pregnancy announcement. According to Fightful, "everyone was ecstatic" for Naomi and Jimmy behind the curtain, as you'd expect.

What does this mean for the Women's World Championship belt though? WWE's creative team hasn't really worked that out as of yet. It remains unclear just how they'll go about crowning a brand new champion. Naomi's planned match vs. Stephanie Vaquer at Clash In Paris on 31 August has been iced, but there's every chance Vaquer will either be in the running to become new champ or will receive her promised title bout once a new champion is crowned.

WWE might launch a tournament to get there, or they could just pick a selection of top contenders and have them battle it out in a one off match - it's still a bit of a mystery for now.
