Will IMPACT Wrestling Hardcore Justice 2021 Go Head-To-Head With WrestleMania 37?
An update on IMPACT Hardcore Justice 2021, which runs on the same day as 'Mania 37's first day...
IMPACT Wrestling's Hardcore Justice 2021 event will not run head-to-head with the first night of WWE WrestleMania 37.
16 March saw IMPACT announce that its latest IMPACT Plus! live special would go down on the same day as WWE's Showcase of the Immortals, 10 April, though a specific time wasn't disclosed. This opened up the possibility of Hardcore Justice going head-to-head with 'Mania.
IMPACT has now added a bell time to its Plus! service, which lists Hardcore Justice as started at 3PM EST. This should avoid any clashes with 'Mania.
This year's Show of Shows will start at around 6:30PM EST. Hardcore Justice could therefore serve as a nice appetiser for any wrestling fans hungry for content ahead of WrestleMania's first night.
As previously announced, Tommy Dreamer has been granted kayfabe permission to book this year's Hardcore Justice show, with IMPACT executive Scott D'Amore granting him consent. No matches have been announced for the show yet, though Dreamer told Trey Miguel (who has been feuding with Sami Callihan) that he would try to find him a match for the IMPACT Plus! live special on last night's show.
The hotly-anticipated Kenny Omega vs. Rich Swann title vs. title match goes down at the Rebellion 2021 pay-per-view on 24 April.
