Despite rumours swirling that World Wrestling Entertainment was to suspend Brock Lesnar after his multiple USADA drug test failures, the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio reports that this most definitely will not be the case.

As a result, Lesnar's SummerSlam match with Randy Orton is to go ahead as planned.

The drug test failures, which were revealed after Lesnar defeated Mark Hunt on his return to the octagon at UFC 200, reportedly did change the plans that WWE had for this past Tuesday's draft however. Lesnar was scheduled to be the #1 draft pick, but as a result of the controversy was bumped down to eighth overall.

Whilst this decision may come across as inherently hypocritical, considering WWE's reactions to outside drug test failures in the past, as a corporate entity the company quite frankly has to think business first ahead of ethics. Outside drug test failure or not, Brock Lesnar puts bums in seats and that is A1 for World Wrestling Entertainment.

LA Times writer Lance Pugmire tweeted yesterday that Lesnar was pinged for oestrogen blocker Clomiphene, although this is yet to be confirmed by the USADA.
