WrestleMania 41: Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair In The Works (WWE News)
WWE discussed blockbuster Charlotte Flair vs. Tiffany Stratton match for WrestleMania 41.
Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair could be on the table for WrestleMania 41.
Per WrestleVotes during a Backstage Pass Q&A, there have been "rumblings" of Flair vs. Stratton, though nothing is set in stone. It was stressed that although the match has been talked about for the 19 and 20 April PLE, whether or not it happens is yet to be determined.
Stratton vs. Flair is one of the biggest women's bouts between two full-time wrestlers WWE could conceivably book for WrestleMania, pitting one of the most highly-thought-of young prospects on the roster against one of its most decorated stars.
Tiffany currently reigns as WWE Women's Champion, having successfully cashed-in her Money in the Bank contract on friend-turned-rival Nia Jax on the 3 January episode of SmackDown. Having become Miss Money in the Bank in July, Tiffany's chase was protracted, with the former NXT Women's Champion teasing a cash-ing several times before finally pulling the trigger. At 25, she is considered among WWE's most promising wrestlers, demonstrating an aptitude for televised wrestling beyond her three years of experience.
Flair, meanwhile, is a veteran by comparison. A member of WWE's acclaimed Four Horsewoman and influential in elevating women's wrestling throughout her 12-year tenure, Charlotte is consistently pushed as one of WWE's top acts, to the extent that she has 15 different Raw Women's, SmackDown Women's, Divas, and NXT Women's Championship reigns to her name.
Charlotte had been off WWE television for over a year at the time of writing. Suffering a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus in December 2023, Flair was originally expected to miss around nine months, though she is yet to return. Talk of a seemingly impending comeback has intensified heading into Royal Rumble 2025 season, however.
