Wrestler Fired After Complaining About WWE Medical
The star was given two options, both of which involved her release.
Rachael Ellering was one of the many WWE stars released during the mass exodus which took place mid-way through last month, but her particular release came off the back of complaints aimed at WWE's medical team, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
A few months ago, Ellering (Or Rachael Evers as she was known in NXT) reportedly spoke to the company's officials about the issues she was having with the medical team and medical procedures during her rehab. She suffered a torn ACL in July 2019 and underwent reconstructive knee surgery soon after.
These complaints aimed at the medical team weren't received well by the company and this eventually led to her departure.
The Observer also noted that the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering was given two choices a couple of weeks ago. Both of these options involved her release, but it still isn't clear what the precise choices were.
Ellering picked a choice and was then released by the company.
She rcently tweeted out this video with the caption, 'We know who we are, who we’ll always be and we have a choice: we can hide in the shadows or stand in the light'.
There's still no news on what her plans will be outside of WWE.
