Wrestler's Alter Ego To Compete At WrestleMania 39
Superstar will channel this persona for the first time in nearly two years.
Edge might be channelling the devil for his Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 39, but Finn Balor is officially bringing his Demon.
Balor had been strongly hinting that his alter ego would resurface at Mania ever since the Rated-R Superstar laid down the challenge for Hell in a Cell to settle their feud.
Monday on Raw, Balor delivered a pre-recorded promo that saw him once again talk about bringing his demos to Mania, only for an image of the character to be superimposed over Finn's face. Shortly after the graphic for their match had changed to the Demon persona rather than Judgment Day Balor.

The Demon has only come out on a handful of special occasions, most recently losing in a comically bad manner to Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules 2021, where he flopped around on the floor like a fish before reviving, only to have the ropes mysteriously break, allowing the Tribal Chief to retain his WWE Universal Championship.
Balor did bring the Demon to WrestleMania once before, at Mania 35 in 2019, where he defeated Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental Championship.
Edge and Balor have been entangled in an off-and-on feud since last summer, when Finn joined Judgment Day, only to immediately kick Edge out of the group. Since then, Judgment Day has tormented Edge, corrupted his friend Rey Mysterio's son Dominik, and bashed his wife Beth Phoenix's head in with a conchairto.
The Hell in a Cell match theoretically should mark the end of their lengthy feud. We know what to expect with Balor's getup, but it'll be interesting to see what Edge does for Mania.
