Wrestling Legend Agrees With Goldberg; Says AEW "Needs Help"
This WWE Hall Of Famer thinks Bill Goldberg was right about Tony Khan's AEW.
WWE Hall Of Famer Larry Zbyszko has agreed with Bill Goldberg's recent comments about AEW being "too cheesy", and the former favourite didn't stop there. Zbyszko actually didn't know what Goldberg had said before sitting down with Wrestling Shoot Interviews, but echoed his sentiments when he found out.
Larry was curious about Bill, because he'd heard that his former WCW alumni wasn't going to entertain wrestling again in WWE or AEW anyway. Then, when the interviewer told him the "too cheesy" statement, Zbyszko added: "It is. It needs help". He's just the latest pro wrestling legend to share those sorts of thoughts about Tony Khan's company.
Eric Bischoff has been outspoken about the trials and tribulations of AEW on his weekly podcasts. That has led to beef on X with Khan in the past (and recently!). It's unlikely that Larry will go down the same path with Tony, but he does think the All Elite boss could use a helping hand.
Some fans and critics have opined that Khan should delegate some of his responsibilities to others and lessen his workload. They reason that easing his load would help Tony concentrate on the most important things AEW needs to grow.
Zbyszko didn't offer his help, but does think AEW needs some.
