This NXT/AEW-centric video is all about what went down during yesterday's Wednesday night wars, starting with WWE's black-and-gold brand, where Velveteen Dream returned for the first time since losing to Adam Cole at TakeOver: In Your House on 7 June (0:32). Dream had been absent from television after separate allegations of serious misconduct were thrown his way in April and June, and was also hospitalised following a car crash during his time away.

On top of this, Keith Lee vs. Karrion Kross is now official for TakeOver XXX (4:32). Fireballs happened. It was weird.

From there we pivot over to Jacksonville, with Cody finally unveiling the brand new TNT Championship belt ahead of Dynamite (6:04). AEW's flagship show also saw a small number of fans trickle into Daily's Place (7:59) with masks, social distancing, and other safety measures reportedly in effect - as confirmed on the show itself.
