Mick Foley went through several different gimmicks with the WWF/WWE in his time with varying degrees of success, there was Cactus Jack, Dude Love, Mick Foley and his most successful gimmick Mankind. While Foley seemed to continuously cycle through his gimmicks, it was only as Mankind did Foley receive his fame. Mankind, essentially Foley in a leather strapped mask and shirt, was initially an incredibly disturbed character that didn't gather large scale support from fans. However, after transitioning the character to a more humorous face turn did Foley's Mankind get any pop from crowds. Mick Foley, with the Mankind mask won the tag team titles 6 times with 3 different partners, including Kane, the Rock and Al Snow, the WWE Championship 3 times and was the inaugural Hardcore Champion, and was well renowned for his work in the hardcore division, having introduced several different variety of hardcore matches to wrestling, including the bizarre Boiler Room match. Mick Foley was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013, an event that would never have occurred without the achievements of Mankind.
