OK, this is a no-brainer. Jim Hellwig had been kicking around the California scene as a part of Powerteam USA, and then invaded Memphis as a Road Warrior clone team called the Blade Runners with partner Sting. After moving to Mid-South, Hellwig had some personal issues with Bill Watts and went his own way from Sting, which in hindsight worked out fantastic for everyone. Hellwig migrated to Texas for a singles push as the unlikely Australian-themed Dingo Warrior, where he developed his trademark facepaint and tassels. A move to the WWF was inevitable, and he arrived fully-formed, as the squash match above shows. The press-slam and splash finisher, the rope shaking, the ridiculous energy, all there from the start. Just another reason why squash matches still should have a place today, because if someone was allowed to go out and destroy a geek like Terry Gibbs today a few times, hed get over too.
