4. Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat - WrestleMania 3
Hulk Hogan body slamming Andre the Giant in the main event of Wrestlemania 3 is one of the most iconic images in all of Wrestlemania history. The WWE annually shows it as an example of the main event magic that can happen at the grandest stage of them all and even when I saw it, some fourteen or so years later, the roaring crowd makes you feel like it's happening for the first time all over again. The show's biggest moment? Yes. The show's best match? No. Randy Savage versus Ricky Steamboat is certainly the best Intercontinental Title match and may be the best wrestling match ever. It really is that good. Anyone from a newcomer to a veteran of WWE, no matter how old, can put this match on a know just how good it is. Why isn't it the top of the list? It's the Hogan-Andre magic that keeps it down. It doesn't completely steal the show considering everyone remembers Hogan slamming Andre, but in terms of wrestling ability, Savage-Steamboat easily takes the crown.
