Putting everything out there, I regard Shawn Micheals as THE most entertaining wrestler ever and Kurt Angle as THE BEST in the world. The argument for these points is superfluous to this article, but no-one can deny that the meeting between these two is an instant classic. Starting out as a technical match wherein Micheals reminds everyone he is as much a wrestler as a charasmatic high-flyer, the match becomes a knock-out, ruthless fight. Angle embraces the anger he usually bruies beaneath a pompous persona and Micheals channels the classic 'will to win' usually reserved to the Hulk Hogans of the wreslting world. The true test of whether one man can be realistically put over another is not in a pin fall, which can be obscured by referee bumps and outside interference, but rather seeing one man make the other submit. Seeing Shawn Micheals submit to Angle is not only evidence that Angle is one of the best to ever grace the ring, but also the climax to a match that instantly went down as one of the best of the decade.
