WWE: 10 Most Boring Wrestlers Ever

By Dan Curtis /

3. Alberto Del Rio

When your own personal ring announcer is more popular than you are, we've got a problem. Despite being touted regularly by JBL as Mexico's greatest export, Alberto Del Rio is, in fact, nothing of the sort. He's a talented wrestler, but he has absolutely no ability whatsoever to connect with a crowd and WWE keeps constantly either pushing him slightly or burying him, confusing the audience about Alberto's place in the proceedings. He's been both a heel and face, won the world titles on multiple occasions, stole CM Punk's moment of glory when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract after Punk fought Cena and won the WWE title and done a whole lot more in his time in the WWE, and I still could not give a monkeys. I don't know what it is about him. I just cannot get into anything Alberto does. Judging by the silence that often greets his matches, neither do the WWE fans either. The only recent reaction Alberto got was at Elimination Chamber simply because he was fighting Batista who the crowd seem to have completely turned upon after the unforgivable skinny jeans incident. If rumours are told to believed (which, they shouldn't) Alberto might be on his way out of the WWE soon. Well, I'd like to say he'd be missed, but all that means is I'll have to fastforward a segment with Khali twerking with Santino Marella instead. If that happens, come back Alberto and all shall be forgiven.
