Skip to 1:30 "I have a high threshold for pain, higher than most guys, and I couldn't deal with it. It felt like I had taken a shotgun blast to the stomach, and then someone poured in some salt and Tabasco and stirred it all up with a nasty pitchfork." Brock Lesnar Those were Lesnars words from his autobiography Death Clutch, about the disease diverticulitis, which forced him to retire from UFC. Lesnar has undergone multiple surgeries to combat this illness in years past, including 2011 where doctors removed a foot of his colon. For Lesnar as a person and performer, we should all hope this disease doesnt rear its ugly head again. Thus far, Lesnar hasnt been affected by the illness. In WWE, he is protected from shots to the stomach in a way that he wasnt in UFC. How would it work out if Lesnar asked an opponent beforehand to take it easy on the shots to the gut? Ultimately it will come down to Brocks threshold for pain if this disease pops up again. Until then, expect to see lots of the man who conquered The Streak. (My Inner Paul Heyman couldnt resist)
