WWE: 10 Most Memorable Moments In Royal Rumble History

By Jack Pooley /

7. Diesel Returns (2011)

There had been some rumours the weekend of the 2011 Royal Rumble about a possible Diesel appearance as he had been spotted at a local airport with his hair dyed black, but I don't think many people took them too seriously, given Nash's apparent tenure with TNA at the time. It had to be a coincidence, right? However, low and behold, entrant number 32 (it was a 40-man Rumble that year) was Big Daddy Cool himself, to the shock of everyone inside the ring and all the fans watching. Though Kevin Nash's best days are long, long behind him, it was easily the most memorable and entertaining moment in recent Rumble history. He lasted just less than 3 minutes and didn't eliminate a single wrestler, which was a bit disappointing, but it was a great dose of nostalgia, and hey, he didn't even tear his quad for once!
