7. Umaga

Edward Smith Fatu, reinvented himself after shaking off the terrible gimmick he was given as Jamal in the tag team 3-minute warning and boy, did the new character of Umaga go down well. For a whole year he was invincible, destroying everybody in sight including Superman himself, John Cena. John Cena would eventually end Umaga's thirty four match winning streak in a title match at the New Year's Revolution PPV, but that didn't seem to damage the Umaga character at all and the fans still believed he was a demolition machine. Enter a returning HHH... yes, he was returning and yes, he needs to get over with the crowd, but did the Game really need to beat Umaga at three PPVs in a row? Nobody was convinced by Umaga anymore and he disappeared into mid-card obscurity before disappearing off the roster.
