From @Coeyboy: What are the chances of Kurt Angle returning to WWE? Facing Undertaker at next year's WrestleMania maybe?
It seems very likely that Angle is going back to WWE once his TNA deal is up in September. He's spoken about it in interviews over the last couple of months and we're keeping a close eye on it because a return of Angle would be a big deal. He'll be 46 years old later this year so he likely wants to go back to WWE for another year or two before retiring as an in-ring performer. If there's one thing that prevents an Angle comeback to WWE it would have to do with questions about his health. We don't know if he would be able to pass a WWE physical or if WWE would want to risk putting him in the ring. Currently he's out of action in TNA after another knee surgery. An Angle return to WWE would lead to some potential dream matches against the likes of Daniel Bryan (since they are great technical wrestlers), CM Punk (if he comes back) or Cesaro. Then there are past opponents that he could mix it up with like Brock Lesnar, Triple H or John Cena. Who was Cena's opponent in his first televised match? Kurt Angle. As for your idea about wrestling Undertaker at WrestleMania next year, it's definitely a possibility. They had some fantastic matches together over the years. Check out their classic at No Way Out 2006 if you get the chance. My feeling is that if Undertaker does compete at WrestleMania next year his opponent might be Cena just so they can do it before Undertaker calls it a career. The chances of Angle going back to WWE? About 90%. He's done all he can do in TNA. They're not growing. He should head back home to WWE for one more run and hopefully he's healthy enough to have some great matches even if he's only wrestling as a part timer.
