She began to get close to another travelling wrestler, and one of Matt's friends Edge. The two became involved in an affair. When this secret fling became not-so-secret, Matt Hardy went understandably crazy. He went very public, and was fired. WWE decided to bring him back and cash-in on this real life animosity, by portraying it on TV. It's a story as old as time, but when it's legit, it's just crazy to watch! Sadly the feud was short lived and the two went on to have very different careers in professional wrestling.
