WWE: 10 Reasons John Cena Heel Turn Would Be A Mistake

By Tom Gibbs /

6. It Should Take Place At One Of The €œBig Four€

While WWE has plenty of €œspecial events€ and pay-per-view shows, they rely on the €œbig four€ to generate the most revenue. For those unaware, the big four consists of the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. These shows have been around for close to thirty years, and their impact on the wrestling industry goes without question. The biggest matches, the biggest names, and the hottest angles take place at one of these four shows, and these are the shows where a Cena heel turn would be most beneficial. These shows on average have the most viewed worldwide. That means more eyes are glued to these shows than any other. Cena turning heel is something that a lot of people, especially the Cena naysayers, would be more than willing to spend their hard earned cash on viewing, and that means a big payday at the big four. If the Cena heel turn is planned to take place this year, then that means Royal Rumble and WrestleMania are already out. SummerSlam is four months away and Survivor Series is seven months away. That€™s a solid length of time for a feud to reach its climax, and should the Wyatts finally turn Cena heel, it would be much more memorable for the moment to occur at either show.
