Featured Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Diesel, WWF World Championship. In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies. In one of the earliest examples of "Hardcore wrestling" in WWF, Diesel and Michaels fought over the World Championship using chairs, fire extinguishers, the Spanish announce table, and referee Earl Hebner's belt. Unable to dispatch of each other with such traditional weapons, Diesel looked deep within himself- and also at the crowd- and new he had to go further than he'd ever gone before. And that's when he noticed wrestling legend "Mad Dog" Vachon in the crowd. In 1987- a year after retiring from the squared circle- Vachon was struck by a hit-and-run driver, forcing the amputation of one of his legs. Fast-forward nine years, and his artificial limb would be ripped from his stump, and used in a Match-Of-The-Year candidate. Michaels was able to avoid the appendage being swung at him by his former bodyguard, and ultimately HBK used the foot on Diesel before using his own foot- in the form of Sweet Chin Music- to emerge victorious.
