6. He's Been Ridiculously Over For A Long Time

The foundations of Bryan's recent adventures amongst the most popular wrestlers of all-time truly started about a year ago. While in the middle of a tag team title run with Kane as Team Hell No, Bryan's serious wrestling and comedic antics pushed his star to crazy heights. Shortly after, Bryan would become paranoid that he was the "weak link" between him and Kane. As such, his action became fast-paced and incredibly fun to watch. As if his chants and mannerisms weren't likable enough, now Bryan was exhibiting the skills he became famous on the indies for in spades. Last summer, his popularity was so overwhelming that it forced John Cena to select him as his SummerSlam opponent. That was seven months ago. Since then, Bryan has been riding an unprecedented wave of fan appreciation. It's one thing to be a fan favorite, but it's an entirely different thing to be the most popular for close to a year now. Almost every fan wants to see him win the big one, and that's why Wrestlemania is almost guaranteed to draw huge purchase figures.
