WWE: 10 Wildest Elimination Chamber Moments

4. Legacy's Pipe Bomb

2010 Raw Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship Four years ago, Randy Orton was strapped to a rocket destined for the main event, and the WWE Universe was happy to light the fuse. Orton's every move in this match gets a big response from his home town crowd. He's booked to look so clever and quick, dodging and countering moves from both Kofi Kingston and Triple H. Meanwhile, a fellow member of Orton's Legacy faction Ted DiBiase Jr. is also in the Chamber. They team up for a good portion of the match, brutalizing both Kofi and Hunter while waiting for Cena's pod to open. When it does open, and Orton is distracted by Cena, third Legacy member Cody Rhodes skulks down to the ring. He casually drops a steel pipe into the Chamber. While it's somewhat unclear as to whether he intended for Ted or Randy to use the pipe, it is indeed Ted who picks it up. He uses it to bash Orton and then Cena. There is a moment's hesitation before he decides to pin Orton, and the fix is in. As a bleary-eyed Orton is escorted from the Chamber, he turns back to face his ally-turned-assailant. The look on DiBiase's face is priceless - he's very pleased with his betrayal - and it leads to the Triple Threat implosion of Legacy at WrestleMania 26. This was a wild moment because it was so uncharacteristic of DiBiase, who had been so subservient to Orton, and generally a heel with little bite.
